WOW

I am really excited!! I am getting tons of interest in my work. The phone is beginning to ring off the hook!!! Hailey's family loved the pictures and will be coming back for more!! I could not be happier. On a side note, my littlest one is finally starting to feel better. I think we finally found her the right formula. For the first time in about 5 weeks she was happy enough to sit for her eagerly awaiting mama's camera!!

more pics of Hailey!!

first newborn shoot

Well I did it. My first time taking photos of someone that I had never met. A little intimidating but so enjoyable. She was the cutest little thing, such a peaceful baby, very alert. She stayed awake almost the whole time I was with her. I got lucky with this one. It's so much harder than it looks to take pics of someone else's baby. When I take photos of my little ones I always have the advantage of waiting until the time is just right. I think little Hailey's parents will be pleased!!!

Madison

Here are some pics of my new baby. It was hard crawling around the floor trying to get the best shots, after all I was still recovering from major surgery. I had to sneak around so that my hubby wouldn't see me!! She was just so little and precious that I had to risk it!!! They get big so fast!!!

Sweet feet

I just can't stop snappin' away millions of pictures of these little toes!!! How could anyone resist!!

Introducing my brand new little bitty niece KAITLYN and her first of many many photo shoots!!

Magic moments

Today is the start of something very exciting. For a long time now, people have been telling me how much they love my photos. After the birth of my first daughter, my love for photography just exploded. It was something that I dabbled with in my early twenties, but never really got into. I took a class in college and the teacher advised me to pursue this. I can remember her saying that to me like it was yesterday, but I just thought she was crazy!! It's funny how little things can change your life. About a year ago my father sent me an email about a digital SLR camera. The email was entitled "how about trying an upgrade?". I briefly looked at the camera but thought I don't have hundreds of $$$ to spend on a camera -of all things!! After much consideration ,one income tax check, and a loving husband who encouraged me to spend the dough, I bought my beloved Nikon!!! It sounds crazy but having this camera has changed my life. I have been able to capture so many "magic moments" that I will be able to cherish forever. For the past year I have been practicing and working on my skills. And now I am beginning to branch out and take photos for all the people who have been asking me!! It is so exciting to be doing this!!! I have 2 Guinea pigs lined up this week for my first photo shoot outside of my immediate family.....wish me luck!!! Stay tuned!!
